Delaware Soil Health Partnership

The Delaware Soil Health Partnership is an Outreach & Education effort of the Sussex Conservation District, the University of Delaware and Delaware State University Extension, Delaware NRCS, and the Delaware Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control (DNREC).

The Delaware Soil Health Partnership provides a platform to feature regional soil health research, farmer panels and national soil health experts. As enthusiasm for soil health has grown, so has our audience size.

Support for the Sussex Conservation District and other partners in the Delaware Soil Health Partnership includes:

  • Coordinating and moderating DE SHP meetings
  • Communicating with and connecting partners
  • Developing promotional and meeting materials
  • Helping to identify speakers and topics based on farmers’ feedback
  • Grant writing
